May 5th

The question today is what will Georgina do, will she spill Serena's secret???
Yes, I am speaking of Gossip Girls the CW TV show! Tonight's episode I
feel will have us at the edge of our seat!! 8pm you are sure to find me in front
of my tv positioned comfortably on the couch. I think Dan is a good guy
and will come thru for Serena and be there for her. Let's hope I adore them
together!

Luckily this past weekend didn't turn out to be such a wash, Sunday the
clouds broke and we had some warm weather and sunshine, ahh its so nice.
I can't wait till summer and to get a tan! I never realized what a chore and
expense it was to make valences and cushions! Honestly though, it is worth it.
I feel like the house will come together more and feel that much more homey.
I found the most adorable fabric for the bench cushion, it has mini fleur de
lis on them, and the color matches the valence fabric, how perfect is that! I will
be sure to take a pic and post it when it's complete.

I have posted some new products and still have many more to get up on
my site. My trunk show is officially June 7th, so if you wish to be on the
mailing list to receive the invitation with address and such let me know! Just
Email me! I am very excited about the show, it will be fabulous. I already
have 3 artists confirmed! I will also have a ton more jewelry at the show and
other fun new products that haven't been put up on my site! This week I will
list info about the artists attending and any more info you wish to see!

Now I need to vent a bit, as I feel like us females need to stick together at our
age and not pull each other apart and create such a negative world. You know
what, the one thing I don't get right now and I notice more and more the older
I get. I don't understand why chicks become so neurotic about being a certain
age and not being married or preggers. I mean to each is own, and they can feel
or act the way they want, but why constantly put those feelings on to other girls
who may not feel the same way. Why look at what everyone else is doing and
compare and be so competitive. It's just not pretty to act that way. I mean
everyone is different and everyone has a different way they handle things.
Why do girls feel compelled to compare what they are doing with another girl.
You should be happy with your decisions, as you should be confident they are the
right ones for you. I feel as if many girls are constantly looking for approval from
other girls due to their insecurities and in turn should be looking for approval
from themselves.

Marriage and having kids is a big deal, it isn't a story your mom read to you
when you were young. The decision to marry or have kids should entirely
be yours and your significant others. No other person should influence this
decision especially your girlfriends and what they are doing. Of course this
is just my opinion and I completely respect other people's opinions about this
situation. I just wish females weren't as competitive and viscous when it comes
to being a certain age and their expectations. Those are personal, keep them
that way. I find it very funny that girls create such a dynamic around one another.
Be happy for one another and where they are at in their lives, as it will all fall into
place for you as it did for them.

Okie dokie, enough of that heavy chat! It's about time I get back to work!
