April 23, 2008...Maya doing what puppies do best...

What a day and its only half way over! Today was
one of those
days that every little thing goes wrong, and all you can do is laugh
at yourself because of it! I figured I would share my fun as it is a bit
entertaining.... so I went to the doc, which is always annoying in general.
Ran home to let the pupster out and she proceeded to step in her poop,
which every dog owner knows is always a blast! When I went to
wipe her paw she laid down and nearly rolled her entire body in her
poop, luckily only got more of her toosh. Ahh but that isn't the end as im
wiping that, she once again lays down and it gets all over her tail-- yummy
here I am dressed in work cloths cleaning poop, while my little pupster,
Maya, proceeds to notice the mailman to where she runs after him.
Needless to say I lost my appretite for lunch. Well, I finally was able to
clean her off, get her inside, walked out my door and bam I locked my
keys in the house! hahaha.. oh no problem, I can use my phone to call
my bf to get keys. Oh that is right I left my phone at work. Good way to
meet the neighbors that is for sure, so off I went knocking on doors until
I finally found a neighbor home! Thank goodness she was so kind to let
me use her phone. Finally got in touch with the the bf and thank
goodness he is the bestest and was able to come home to let me in.
Not many people would drive the 20 minutes to let in their ditsy gf... haha..
So I would think the day was enough then, but no.. I proceeded to get cut
off by a mac truck, almost side-swiped by another car and spill a huge
bottle of water all over my white work shirt. So here are my thoughts:
Do I stay at work and just not leave for my own sanity and safety? Or
do I proceed to head into the city (NYC) to meet with one of our very
talented artists. Ok definitely heading to the city! Wish me luck as I
obviously need it today!
