July 11, 2008 ... Italian Festival Cotton Candy.....Pizza Fritta.......Ride....Beer....Music....do I have you convinced yet?
Of Course I am talking about the Westport Festival Italiano (Aka. Italian Festival) is going on Thursday the 10th- Sunday the 13th! Celebrating their 25th of family fun this festival is a the perfect outing for the family or even for a date. Take advantage of the rides and games while listening to the background music of the night and eating an infamous pizza -frita or one of the other delicious alternatives!
Of course those looking for more.. the beer tent is a sure place to meet others having a few drinks before you head out either in South Norwalk; or you can wander just down the block to the Black Duck or Vivas Zappata! A great start to a fun night on the town! Of course if you do plan on hitting the beer tent and bars later on there isn't anything better than some greasy food in your stomach to counteract that morning hangover???
Need Directions?
From Northbound:
Take I-95 exit 17 and you can't miss it- it is right in front of you in the commuter parking lot off the highway!
From Southbound:
Take I-95 exit 17 at the end of the ramp take a right and find parking! The festival is in the commuter parking lot!
