June 26, 2008... Fourth of July..new bridal section.. and more A top of the morning to everyone!
I can't believe it's already almost July 4th!!!
In honor of the fourth of July I have put our Peace, Love, and Happiness Soaps on Sale! These fun soaps will add to any fourth of july party at your house!
We have a new section called "I DO.. xoxo" this is our new bridal section! Since I am at the age of weddings and showers and a lot of my friends are getting married, in honor of them I created a section just for them and their family/friends. If you are a bride looking for custom handbags for your bridesmaids or even custom jewelry let us know! If you are attending a shower and want a custom or unique elegant gift you have come to the right place. Also, if any bride needs help with wedding favors, let us know and we will work with some of our artist to create a fun favor unique and custom just for you!
What else is going on at La Vie En Rose.... hmm well the end of our first 3 month quarter is approaching and I will be able to make our first donation to Tigers Forever! Although it is rather early and we are newly launched I am positive it will be a decent amount and will be sure to let everyone know that contributed how much was sent! Hopefully as we grow our goals will be reached for the many other charities we will donate to!
I am looking for a local restaurant or spa, or even corporation to host a holiday trunk show. It is a great way to give back to your customers and or employees! So if you are interested please EMAIL us!
So July 4th is approaching and I figured I would remind everyone about the Fireworks in Norwalk and Westport, CT! They are both the 3rd and you can pretty much see both fireworks if you are situated in the right area! My suggestion is if you are watching from Compo Beach go on the South side (near the grills) and if you are in Norwalk go to Calf Pasture Beach and sit on Shady Beach side! Funny both of those sides are where the grills are, wonder if they planned that all along! :-) July 4th rocks this year because it falls on a Friday and gives us that extra long weekend! Who wouldn't love that! I am sure everyone will have lots of parties to attend, so have a blast and be safe!!!
hmm let's see what is new in my life you ask. Well, pilates training is going well. I finished my mat certification class and now am studying and practice teaching! I just got my anatomy coloring book, which I am finding to be a fabulous tool in helping me learn the anatomy part of the certification! As for the teaching, I have a ways to go hehe. I will let you know how it goes- I must thank one of my first victims - my boyfriend Matt for being one of my guinea pigs as well as my mom, Matty's family and some of my friends! The more I practice teach the better off I will be! I find the hardest thing to teach is the "hundred" how can one count and give directions all at the same time. I gather after time you learn, cause all my pilates teachers do it with ease! I am very excited to learn more and take even more workshops and certifications. My goal is to be done with it in under a year- I need all the luck in the world hehe.. I'll keep you in the loop for sure!
Okie dokie I am off to study some anatomy and start making some practice teaching plans!
